Chippewa View Waterfront Cottages is located in the Thousand Islands, directly on the banks of St. Lawrence River, between Hammond and Alexandria Bay, New York. Our property offers exceptional views, prime waterfront location, protected dockage, and various nearby outdoor activities for you to enjoy. All this, plus the BEST sunsets on earth.
Each of our 2 rental cottages allow for a maximum of four guests. They feature 2 bedrooms (with one full size bed in each), one bathroom, air conditioning, a well equipped kitchen, a picnic table, BBQ grill (free gas) and impeccable views. Our cottages have been charmingly decorated, are kept immaculately clean and are equipped for your comfort. The cottages are non-smoking inside, but guests can smoke outside. Vacation rentals are available on weekly basis from May 1st to Mid-September.
Our location provides easy proximity to prime Muskellunge, Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout & Bass fishing grounds both in Canadian and American waters. In addition, the St. Lawrence River is quickly gaining popularity with recreational divers, due to the exceptional water clarity and numerous wrecks in the area.
Chippewa Bay is a quaint, protected bay—which is a hidden gem of the St. Lawrence River! The scenery to be enjoyed from your stay in Chippewa ranges from international ships plying the St. Lawrence Seaway, to abundant river wildlife and "show-stopper" sunsets.
If you have a boat, we allow you the use of one dock slip (free) or if you don't have a boat we have a nice rowboat you can use for the week (also free). We do not rent motors but you may bring your own small outboard motor (10-25 hp) and use it on our rowboat. A local convenient store is located just 500 feet from our docks right on the water; gas and supplies can be purchased here. A free public boat launch is also available 1000 feet from our location.
We are one of the few area properties in Chippewa Bay offering relaxed cottages after a day of fishing, water-skiing, or exploring the extraordinary 1000 Islands Region. Welcome!
